Wow, it's been awhile since I posted. I honestly think, just maybe, my life has now halted just a bit to take a breath. It's amazing to be so busy but I like it, sort of. Did a little show yesterday locally. I whipped up a batch of fun stuff. Sold all my dolls...who knew? Show was a little slow but that is okay because I met some amazing folk. It was all worth it. My dear sister in law, Liz, joined me for the day. She was my "money" keeper since I am so bad at that. We had good laughs.
check out my Etsy Shop for my newest offerings. I'll be adding more in the next couple of days.
My sweet "engineer" sister-in-law, Liz. She really is an engineer. I think we had a little infulence on her yesterday, getting her a bit girly girled...lol. Love you LIz!!!
Not finished, but my chandy I've been constructing after taking an online workshop with Sally Jean. It did get a lot of attention yesterday. Lots more to add to it. Just used it as a prop to hang things from.
I met a fun gal, Dawn, yesterday. She has some great pictures of the day. Check out her blog here to see more. She was wearing "original" Magnolia Pearl" from the velvet days...way cool, let me tell you!
Met Sandy who took my online doll necklace workshop.
She brought a batch she worked on and I was really impressed. Great job Sandy. It was so nice to meet you. Picture does not do her creations Justice. They really were beautiful.
Oh, almost forgot. I will be teaching this class next month I believe, at the Cottage Garden in Glendale. I brought my samples, and that is what everyone wanted me to teach. It will be loads of fun.
I also meet my neighbor Liz, yes, another Liz. Loved her. Wish I got her picture and her great vintage finds. What I LOVED about the day, I connected with those who love what I love, be it art, clothes, jewelry, etc. It was just plain fun!!!! Oh, and Karen Valentine was there and what a blessing to meet her too.
All was good, it really was. Hope you all are doing well. I need to start posting again. I think that just might start happening, I do believe...until then, take care...sending love.
I just found your blog via Pinterest! Wow!!! You do such amazing artwork!!!

First of all you look fab-YOU-lous! And your booth looks great too. I love how your chandy is turning out. I've been wanting to make one of those for a while but haven't gotten around to it. Now that I have a studio I have somewhere to put it. I hope you will post pics when you get it finished. It's good to visit you again girl. I haven't been by for a while. Sounds like you are doing well and that is good to hear. Hugs!
