Oh, my name really is spelled... roxanne
I need to slow down!

Dear Joanna, you have so much to be thankful for, and I love the way you put it all into words here, so that others can learn and grow with you.
Your blog is beautiful. Your art is magical and haunting. And I love your bottles especially!!
I hope December is beginning for you with light and wintery sunshine,

Hi Joanna,
I too, have followed your brave journey through your illness and Ron's. I can identify with many of the troubles you've had. What you wrote about cutting your Mom off because you were busy... I know that feeling. I did that too. My Mom lived with us in another area of the house. I could have spent SO much more time with her, but didn't. I miss her like crazy now. I've been hard on myself over this, but God keeps reminding me that I'm forgiven. Bless her heart in Heaven, and your Mama's too. We'll see them again in glory and they will be healthy and whole and strong. :)

What a wonderful post. Happy Thanksgiving to you. Love the look of the book!

Thanks for the memories, as bitter sweet as they may be.
You have inspired my life for several years now, and so glad things seem to be going great. Love your work, as always.

Dearest Joanna,
Reading this post, I also think back of the time I "found" you, back in 2007, where you bravely, told your story on your blog,- I know it was after surgery, and your way of dealing with your situation, was just fantastic. You also posted photoes of yourself having lost your hair, because of your treatment, and your dear Ron having shaved his hair off, too, to kind of follow you on your difficult road. I just fell in love with both of you, and have folloved every single post from you since that. You are a wonderful woman and artist , and I`m so happy you also today( even with Ron`s severe problems, and sicknes) can feel all your blessings,- and am able to be thankful every day.
You are a strong and beautiful lady, my dear JoJo.
Love and hugs,Dorthe

JoAnna, what a wonderful, thought-provoking post. Thank you so much for sharing. It's far too easy for us to just move along through this life, not thinking about, and appreciating all that we have been given. What a beautiful reminder you have given us.
Wishing you and your family a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!
Hugs, Debi

Lovely post! We all have so much to be thankful for and we should appreciate everything. You said it.

Your little art studio is so dear. I believe your first place - designated just for you and your creativity - is so special. Mine was a little nook in one room in our house. Now I have a whole room and I love it but my little nook holds a special place in my heart. Have a beautiful and blessed Thanksgiving, Diane
