My sweet friend, Diane Cook, joined our 12 days of Christmas ornament swap this year. What a treat to be gifted by Diane, an amazing Thimbled Tassel of treasures. It was just too pretty to NOT wear, so I turned it into a necklace. My other dear friend, Jane, gave me some of her very pretty hand made flowers and a cool crown bail finding as some of the 25 days of Christmas surprises (earlier post about that). I can't remember where I got the vintage rhinestone shoe clip, but I love it and had to use it. So with making a few attachments, I now have this to adorn my neck. I just love it. While not wearing it, I hang it on the wall and it looks so pretty there too.
Diane will be teaching her tassel at Artful Gathering this summer. Check out her blog for all her upcoming exciting workshops. She has a magic touch and creates delightful eye candy, indeed.
So much detail going on in this tassel. Diane even crochets a ton of vintage buttons together. I love the little metal book and the pretties soft aqua beads surrounded in rhinestones. Can you tell I adore it!!! Thank you Diane and thank you Jane. xoxo
