INSIDE OF BOOK
This week I have spent a lot of time on creating some fiber collage books. One I am keeping, especially after I found it in my dog's crate, partly chewed up. Thankfully, most of it is still intact. Now this newest one, offered in my Etsy Shop, is being kept far and above from Bailey's reach. I just can't understand why she loves all my stuff!!!
Anyway, I've created this book using my hand-dyed vintage fibers and laces. It's in soft misty grays and ecru with little touches of a very pale gray blue here and there.
I created seven spreads using darling fairy and bird images, all printed on fabric.
I adore books of all kinds. I've always wanted to get more into book making. Maybe I will. I think I will try some mini books. There is just something special about holding these kinds of books in your hand. It's hard to explain if you never have.
The size is approx. 10" long by 7" wide and 2" thick.
