I really love how this turned out. It is on a wood panel that Ron made for me when using wax. Wax is not the best to put onto canvas, but a good solid wood panel works perfect.
I love fusing my layers together with my heat gun. I have tried the iron to do this, but feel I have much more control with the heat gun. And I love adding oil paint to my encaustic medium. The colors are just so wonderful. On this piece, I have also used powered pigments which a great too.
I have a joyful heart for many reasons, but one is when I'm playing with beeswax and I like what I create. Hope this finds a loving home.
